All right, then: In honor of the new site...

Oh wow, click to enlarge. Pretty spiffy.

Great stuff Urb and welcome back! Now that you're here I can retire :)

That's what I'm talking about! Nice jeans!

Woah! (I love how those jeans seem to have no hem stiching!) You and Phat Guido are battling it out, for best poaster of the minute! *Cues Star Trek fight music.

Thanks guys but they're not jeans, they're the trou to the jacket I wore with jeans last Friday. They are a wool/linen blend. However, if I can ever find some jeans that wear and look like that that won't cost me an arm and a leg, rest assured that I will buy them!

On the other hand: Autumn is tweed time. Hard to beat that.

Very very true EFV! I love my Harris Tweed jackets and will certainly be keeping an eye out for a nice tweed suit come autumn.

Cheers TSF! They're Magnanni, however I don't know what model/design; I picked them up at The Rack about a year or so ago for about $80 IIRC.

First jacket & trousers I've ever owned. Old shirt will need to be replaced, I also need a pair of new shoes to go with it, ideas? Depending on reaction, tie may be subject to change too.

Yeah, tough to visualise it as purple; on my screen it looks blue. But applying a bit of imagination, I can see it working well.

Really like today's look.

Spoo and Holdfast- both looking great today!

Thanks guys.

This jacket doesn't fit you at all. It's too tight in the chest.

Seeing several people posting suits in that off-navy shade of blue is really tempting me to consider one. Is yours a herringbone weave?

This is the same odd jacket with a slight windowpane pattern as my fit on the first page (the one with the white pants from the spring challenge). I love the color and I really want to get a suit like that. One day.

Your combo is great today, really like it!

Last night was terrific. Took the missus out to dinner and then to the Strathmore for an evening with the Fab Faux. Highly recommended: http://www.classicalmysterytour.com/. A splendid time is guaranteed for all.

And here's a shout-out to hikari013 who sold me the pink Emma Willis.

Awesome!!! One of your best fits in the past few months.

Nice. Good use of color with that windowpane. I would not have thought to wear that tie with the outfit, but it works.

I would like this more without a tie or with different (darker?) shoes. The white/pink aren't working together for me with the rest of the outfit.

I also bought those Emma Willis ties from hikari013 (orange, teal, blue, purple) they are great!
I nearly pulled the trigger on the orange one, too, but I already have an orange tie that I don't wear. What makes me think I could make this one work, ya know?

Sorry, EF. Tie must go.

Thanks, ace!

Thanks for the observation, Lufty. Not sure I understand it, though. The rest of the outfit is blue. White/pink doesn't go with blue? On the other hand, I do kind of see what you're saying about the shoes. But I really wanted to wear the bucks because they feel so summery.
