I like it as well minus the distressing though. I feel like patina needs to be owned/created and not manufactured. Same reason I don't buy distressed denim

Exactly, wabi sabi only counts when it's homemade.

I definitely agree with ya, although I don't think it looks terrible on that boot.

I know a couple MTO orders just went through, but how many would it take to get something (or even a vote on a couple styles) going?

I think it is minimum 4 boots per MTO

Last pic I took before sending them in to get a stitching issue fixed. The mediocre picture does not do black CXL justice, highly underrated IMO. The hand dyed edges are one of my favorite details.
Thanks for posting. They look great.

There's some interest for a similar make to these

I've just been a lurker on this thread -- but I'd be very interested in a lighter colored derby in the 2030 last. I know a derby just went through MTO, but I was hoping for a lighter color than the brown. Not sure if anyone else is interested in that, though...

Well that's two of us...anymore? We need four right? The image of the derby on their tumblr is the color I'd really like, or a natural CXL (not sure if it's the same). I have a service boot in icy mocha, so I'm hoping for something lighter.
