sazon's post made me go to the 3sixteen site to drool at pictures and wrestle between black CXL brogue vs. non-brogue.

They happened to pop back in stock in my size when I was flipping back and forth, so I took that as a sign - haha.

Regardless, in past conversations with 3sixteen, they are restocking the Stealths within the next few months, and are releasing a new brown makeup. :)

Oooooo good to hear... time to save some cash....

I know this has probably been asked to death, so once more can't hurt right?

I am curious about sizing on the 2030 last VS Red Wings, the whole UK sizing and stuff has me messed up... I am 12 in most Sneakers.... 11 in both of my Red Wing Heritage Round Toes... somewhere right between a 10.5 and 11 in Wolverines... What should I do for Viberg 2030... also is 3sixteen listing US or UK sizes.. I get so mixed up with Vibergs...

My Viberg CXL Service Boot on the 2030 was 9.5.
My regular size varies between 10.5 and 11.
I have what I always thought a wide forefoot, yet this last feels great on my feet.

I'm the same size in Red Wing Iron Rangers, Wolverine 1000 mile, Alden Barrie, Alden trubalance and the 2030 last. Ignore the UK sizing thing, 3sixteen lists the size that's stamped on the boot.

If you're in Vancouver, why not take the ferry over to Victoria and get fitted at the shop?

Thanks for that info... makes me pretty sure I will be an 11 - and I really am considering it.... I might just try to set it up for this Friday...

In regards to sizing, I've been advised by both Viberg and 3Sixteen to go a full size down from your normal sneaker size if you have a normal or narrow foot, and 1/2 size down if you have a wider foot.

However, if you have the luxury of just taking the ferry to Victoria, do it :) Might as well get an MTO while you're there.

@guyferguson is there a specific shoe tree you recommend for the 2030 last? I have tried a variety of pairs and cannot seem to get a great fit.

Did the regular JAB specials not work? I was kind of hoping a pair of those would work on the pair I have coming from Leffot.

Not really. The toe box is quite shallow so it feels like it is pushing too far out on the sides of the boot and not going far enough forward on the toe. Kind of hard to describe but it doesn't fill it out nearly as well as other boots I use the same tree in

Have you tried the Woodlore Epics on them?

No. But I plan too. I tried the Leffot tree which is a rebranded epic. I will try again though

Rydenfan, thanks and please let me how it goes.

Based on your description, I'd ask if you have any C&J or Carmina shoe trees. I don't have my Vibergs yet (and am getting more impatient every day) so I can't try them but it seems like the C&J mainline trees or the Carmina trees might do better. They're flatter and don't seem to have as high an instep.

Seems to me that there would be a good number of people who frequent this thread who would know which ones to use.

I don't but they sound perfect. The high vamp of the Epic was what I remember the issue being. Maybe I will order a pair of each to try. I wish Viberg made some as I will soon have 3 or 4 pairs and would like something with the best fit

The trees that Patrik at Skoaktie recently created look really nice as well as they appear quite shallow.

if you have any sort of disc or power sander just grab some woodlore trees and knock down the high points.
