For some reason, I really like the 10 eyelet format for the service boots. My 7 eyelet service boots are neat too, but it would be great to add something different to my collection. Anyone else a fan of greater rather than fewer eyelets? One more plug for a group MTO in color 8 cxl with the 10 eyelets? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?

Had the 7.5 Color 8 CXL sitting in my cart. Started entering my info and was called away for a quick meeting. 15 min later and they are gone! Damn.

Its a different look but yes I like the 10 eyelets and would be interested

thank you very much! anyone else? a #8 service boot would be very versatile and will patina wonderfully. As they say in the Alden thread, color 8 is king.

btw, Fok, how many commitments do we need to go through with a group buy?

It is said often....referring to cordovan. I'm not saying they won't look good, but CXL is a different animal.

Cordovan is most certainly worth exploring if it's possible with Viberg. It going to raise the bar on costs though if possible. If going that far lined would be awesome. Like the Navy Shell recently posted for pre orders. If that was on 2040 and 10 eyelet I'm in!

Also, I think its 4 for a group order. But it would also probably depend on leather availability. #8 CXL I'm guessing would be prob in stock. But I'm only guessing as they seem to be pumping last variations in #8 out a bit lately.
