Wanted to share my 2 for 250 experience. My RL singleton loafers had bowing in the collar and were a poor fit. But these Brooks Brothers MacNeil black grain are nearly flawless. Very satisfied. I just didn't know they had so much padding in the forefoot as opposed to stock AEs. I'll pay $125 for these any day.

I am almost positive the Independence sale will only apply to the firsts. Moreover, there's no reason to buy 2nds with the 15% discount, since you can get 25% off coupon at Jeffersonville OH store any time.

Scott,

will you try to exchange the bad pair? If so, let me know about that experience… restocking fee or not?

Wanted to point out 2 things quickly based on the past couple of pages...
1. I got a basic wide belt from the outlets during the 2/250 sale for $49.00... Don't know what their regular price is, but worth checking out...
2. The $299 shell sale is still going on through the outlets...

Now onto your regularly scheduled programming...

First shipment came in today from the 2 for $250 sale, although this was the shipment I am most excited about (the other 2 pairs are boring fifth streets in walnut & merlot), I am saddened that these will not see the light of day until Easter... They will, however, have good company in the closet with my brown/linen strawfuts, my red/white/blue Mcalister's, and both my brown/white & walnut/bone broadstreets, what can I say, I'm a sucker for spectators!

Walnut & white Hamptons:
400

Brown & white Gatsby's for BB:
400

Those Hamptons are probably the most comfortable shoe I have put on straight out of the box...

What do you when a shoe's width feels fine but there's just a little too much room between the vamp and the top of your foot?
