OT, but did you get my Walt trousers back in the mail yet? I sent them your way via Priority Mail last week (Tuesday).

the cat went into my wallet, and took out 135.

the ripstop is absolutely awesome. that brings my rivet chino collection up to khaki, navy, and OD. I am going to pass on the doublecamo though, i wouldn't be able to pull it off.

so psyched for these.

Thanks guys! Working on the Double-Faced Camo now.

Just a heads-up - I mentioned it in the OD product listing, but that particular pant made up one inch big in the waist. You don't have to worry about stretching/shrinkage after wear, but I'd recommend getting one down from your normal size in the Rivet Chinos.

Just purchased my first pair of chinos, really looking forward to these esp. since I'll be teaching in the fall and need a good casual dress pant.

Mike, just a question I have in regards to your black denim, will you be doing any more runs in the future or is it a one time deal? I can't remember from when you first introduced the jeans a few months back. Thanks!

Without any further adieu...

Olive%20Drab%20Lo.jpg

EP's Rivet Chino Mil-Spec 100% Cotton Olive Drab: $145

100% Cotton Mil-Spec Olive Drab
For this special edition, we used United States military-spec 100% cotton olive drab. Woven in the US, this tough-as-nails cloth has a subtle interwoven rip-stop structure to make it exceptionally resistant to tearing. The ripstop is quite subtle in real life and not really visible from a normal distance. It looks more apparent in the product photos because of the flash.

This fabric is the real deal, and will take any wear that you can throw at it. With it's 100% cotton fabrication (rather than the usual 50% cotton, 50% poly of most uniform fabrics), it will fade nicely with use. These made up about an inch big in the waist, so please order one size down for the best fit.

EP's Rivet Chino Double-Faced Digital Camo: $145

Double-Faced Digital Camouflague
This special edition Rivet Chino is crafted in double-faced Digital Camo. Made to United States Marine Corps specs (check out the USMC logo on the fabric detail picture), this 50% cotton 50% nylon fabric is tough as nails and will deliver years of solid wear. The exterior is a dark green "Woodland" color mix, and the interior is a tan "Desert" mix. The Desert camo is visible when you roll up the cuff. Athough these are easily worn casually (especially with Sick of it All or mid-90's Wu-Tang Clan t-shirts), we really like them paired with classic trad pieces like buttondown oxfords, longwings, and navy blazers.

These are true to size and have the same specs as our existing Rivet Chinos.

Care to share any fit pictures or descriptions? I'm ready to pull the trigger on a pair of these, but i'm a bit concerned about the fit as I usually wear Petit Standards in A.P.C, which are pretty slim.

My waist is 30...and the fit of the model looks about like what I would want, but he is 2 inches taller and 20 pounds more than myself.

Thanks

The measurements are spot on, maybe take a tape measure to a pair of existing pants you have to find out how the chinos will fit.

Also, I am about 6'3" 220 lbs, so I don't think fit pics on me would really help you out.

I wish that I had four legs so that I could buy two pairs and wear them at the same time lol.

I am more excited about this purchase than I have been for anything in a long time. they are just PERFECT for fall. ripstop chino + oxford + sweater = what i will be wearing all fall.

^ Awesome, right, I love that look.

The jacket was a Scotch and Soda car coat that we carried at Epaulet last Fall. We'll carry the same shape in black moleskin this year. It's always one of our best-selling items, and retails around $350.

I believe that the shirt was from Merc UK and the sweater was from Fred Perry. That dude is pretty mod.

I have been a man possessed for the past four months. Making this sportcoat has been a voyage. Right now, my sample is 90% of the way there. The shoulders, chest, waist, and lapel roll are excellent - which are the hardest elements. I'm especially proud of the shoulder, we really dialed in great soft construction for it. The overall shape is a 3-roll-2 with double vents and slightly angled flap pockets. It's a very British shape with an American button configuration.

The last changes that we're working with are the armhole dimensions and overall sleeve size. Our second sample's sleeves were too tight, and I'm hoping that this next one nails it.

This is ABSOLUTELY going to happen. And I'm confident that it will be the best American-made sportcoat at its price. We'll have a 100% Wool Gabardine for $350 and a 95% Wool, 5% Cashmere tweed for a bit more. They'll both hook up with Walt and Rudy trousers, so you can buy entire suit separates. Once the approved sample comes in, I'll post up all the pics.

Sounds great -- am I correct in assuming we can look forward to more elaborate fabrics as well?
