^I saw that thread, I have quite a fascination with those though for now I really just want a white charvet ruffled shirt and black bow tie which are on my list.

I wasn't planning on spending the full 1k for the prorsum, probably when it's 75 off and with employee discount courtesy of my friend. It would be a fun attention whore piece, the brocade is beautiful as well.

The combination of the brocade and the ruffle would be really luxe, I think. Maybe it would be a nice item to wear with an understated, dark jacket or suit.

Speaking of which, I once saw a person wearing a ruffled shirt, and flip-flops. It was one of those moments were violence was needed.

I was definitely thinking of a dark 2 button jacket to tone it down.

That sounds like it required violent intervention, kind of like the time I saw a guy at the viceroy wearing a dress shirt, blazer, jeans and flip flops. We were about to throw him into the pool.

So why didn't you rise to the occasion?

Crockett and Jones. That particular model is no longer made, but its close cousin is the Coniston model. You can occasionally find the Doughboys on ebay though. Also, I hope you like them Paul.
