i am looking for a pair of 5ep low down boot cut in rigid raw denim size 33w x 34. can somebody help me out?
Alright, punters. I have less than a handful of pairs left in my possession, and they are for the skinny bastards out there. Skinny dudes, step up. As you can see in the pictures thread, these babies will look good on you. For whodini: The jeans are made of 5EP's proprietary denim, from a mix of natural and pure indigo, blended by Godmother and a Japanese national treasure (yes, an official one.) The denim is a 13.5 ounce right hand twill woven on a selvedge loom. The hardware is solid brass. The shank buttons are set by hand. The entire construction is done in Japan. The jeans themselves were designed by Godmother of 5EP, with input from Mauro and me and the rest of the Styleforum. The purpose of this special project was to produce a slim (but not skin tight) jean that would work for a variety of body types. I think that we've done that pretty well.
Then there's the impurities in natural indigo. Some, like indurubin (indigo red), tannins, flavanoids etc. are naturally occurring, others such as madder, carbon (indian ink), wood bark, weird stuff like red ants etc that are added by man.
I'm with you Steve. We don't nunya skinny jeansI think StyleForum jeans discriminate against people who need bigger sizes.
I'm going to boycott them.
Unless of course you happen to make some 38s.
