I just passed through the semi-revamped shoe section at BG. They had a table with some really nice Grensons made for BG. I also saw my first Corthay's live in the flesh (or leather). They were about $1K less than the Kitons, but it was hard to tell the difference. The Kitons had a nice bevelled waist though. Also a wall of a shoe made in england for BG, no maker listed. They did not appear to be EGs to my eye.

How much do Corthays retail for at BG?

IIRC, they were about $1200. I might be confusing them with another shoe. But the salesman made a point of bragging/informing anyone in earshot that BG had an exclusive arrangement with Pierre Corthay in the US. He then pointed out that it was an exquisite shoe, to which the older gentleman next to me replied, "They should be for a thousand dollars!"
