I am taking the EuroStar to London tomorrow and it's mostly about shoes. Check out Maxwell, see Cleverley, and visit EG to see if a different size will help the fit on the 82 last so I can ask Leather Soul to send more green boxes.

What Fairy said. That's one of the reasons I flew all to way to Budapest, once I figured out the fit on all the Vass lasts, I order direct. I also need to try slip-ons & laced-ups made on the last as they fit differently.

I buy wherever the value is, for me being based in England that means a trip down to the factory shops of Northampton as a rule.

My favourite shoe shopping experiences have been at the factory shops - it's nice to have all of the shoes available in your size at hand for you to try on without having to bother any of the staff.
Also fun when the shoes are kept in boxes and you have no idea what they look like until you open the box. I was pretty pleased when I found these in a box with no model name:
Even more fun (and somewhat more dangerous) when you go with a fellow shopper and egg each other on...
