A proper advance would have been with a hermaphrodite. There's no particular error with those mystical creatures.

I expected a comment like that, but not from you. The other pedants must have been passed out.
In any case, blame David. These sure look like togas to me, but I readily admit that I am not up on the finer points of drape-wear:

I can't help but feel that my bid to thwart Manton's plan has failed.

Yes, but you have revealed yourself to be one of the inner circle, a listerner to the tapes, not a reader of transcripts.

Barone's pocket square was peachish. He tends toward solid pocket squares rather much, no?

Is that because SF has not been reduced to the absurd or because it has, but absurdity has not caused SF's destruction?

In any event, you were mistaken in a key point. Manton is not a prophet of doom, but rather its herald. Repentance is not an option. One can only flee.

One is all too reminded of Karlheinz Stockhausen seven opera Licht cycle which grew out of a work commisioned from Israel and first performed there in a synagog. The chief protagonist is the Archangel Michael - chosen for being both the legendary protector of the German and Jewish peoples. Make of that what you will!

Don't worry. There's a silent majority that waits, watches, plans, and prays.
