Haha, actually they are just the Navy/White pair. Might be the picture.

Cheers. I like Breton tops but don't seem to be able to wear them well. A while back someone mentioned they look juvenile, but Cary grant, Picasso etc. pulled them off (not that I've got their steeze

) . I'll keep experimenting.

Thanks - just Levi 511's - seem to fit me pretty well.

Thanks - I'm not sure I can, but I like hats and they add interest to a look if not success

Cheers. I'm lucky to have this just a few minutes from the back door - it makes the commute to work worthwhile.

Thanks. Hats do seem to be a love or loath thing.

Wish I'd sized up when I bought mine - they're seriously ball hugging TTS.

Great shirt, and you've reminded me I bought a pair of pants a similar shade to those shorts last summer and must have them somewhere in the house...

Cap look great. I'd just shorten the tie an inch or two but that's being picky.

Maybe tone down the rest more? I think it also has to do with my impression that the items you wore were brand new; they need to 'sleaze up' a bit (is that English?). Anyway, I admire the way you experiment with your clothes, and the 'reach' you have: from conservative business dress to SW&D.

That shirt is seriously fantastic.

Not sure about the necklace, but only because it's impossible to tell how it meshes when the head's cut off.

Good - nice shirt.
I agree about the tie (and that it's way nitpicky on a really good fit
smile.gif
), and this brings up something I've been meaning to ask since I joined the forum but keep forgetting:

I'm used to seeing a tie break somewhere right around the pants line, but that's on more traditional trouser cuts with a higher rise than most people on this side of the forum wear. Is there any consensus on approximately where the tie should hit with low- or mid-rise pants?

It always looks weird to me when there's white space between the point of the tie and the pants, but it's kind of overkill in terms of total tie length if the tip extends anywhere past the belt buckle.

This is mainly a point of academic curiosity, since I've come to loathe wearing a tie myself.
