The difference is that you have to be decent at at least visualizing the anatomy of the brain to be a neurosurgeon. You have to be good at mathematics (or at least, mathematical tools) to understand economics in any meaningful way. I use pretty complicated statistical tools in my day-to-day research. My wife and brother are both professional number theorists. I don't need to hear people bragging about their ability to integrate really well. Also, I'm tired and cranky. Someone talk about Clarks or something.Originally Posted by LA Guy
