i didn't get the connection either ... but guess what, I don't understand neurosurgery even though I'm great at drawing anatomical sketches of the brain !

I use to major in economics and was doing pretty well in my intermediate classes 300-400 level, but I got disenchanted because I realized I was being motivated too much by blind ideology. Maybe its cuz I actually tried really hard, and was tutored..by peeps. eat a dick, btw

yah, I only got up to a 400 level and it was just calc, and I started hating it.

The difference is that you have to be decent at at least visualizing the anatomy of the brain to be a neurosurgeon. You have to be good at mathematics (or at least, mathematical tools) to understand economics in any meaningful way. However, being good at mathematics does not mean that you would necessarily make a good economist. See?

and being good at drawing brain pics doesn't necessarily make a good doc anyway economics is a social science
