Really? Do you really understand quantitative economics, or do you just have opinions about shit? There's a difference.

I use to major in economics and was doing pretty well in my intermediate classes 300-400 level, but I got disenchanted because I realized I was being motivated too much by blind ideology. Maybe its cuz I actually tried really hard, and was tutored..by peeps. eat a dick, btw

The difference is that you have to be decent at at least visualizing the anatomy of the brain to be a neurosurgeon. You have to be good at mathematics (or at least, mathematical tools) to understand economics in any meaningful way. However, being good at mathematics does not mean that you would necessarily make a good economist. See?

I could see that going with Clarks DB in a Lawrence of Arabia way. My job is to show that DBs can be worked into any outfit.

I use pretty complicated statistical tools in my day-to-day research. My wife and brother are both professional number theorists. I don't need to hear people bragging about their ability to integrate really well. Also, I'm tired and cranky. Someone talk about Clarks or something.

what statistical tools? i know i'm not a hardcore quant god but i try my best. also, you and i both know that integrating isn't trivial.

i've been wearing my wallies damn near every day. i should switch it up with the weavers.
