Dear All,
I will be going to Paris for 3 days this month. Given most of the threads on this topic are over a year old, I am looking for fresh input on it.

Where is good to shop? I'm considering popping by Corthay and the flagship Hermes (so my requests for a green breast wallet can be met with confusion), but are there any other worthwhile places to hit?

Thanks!

Charvet for classic stuff, French Trotters for rugged stuff, Colette for fashion stuff, and Deyrolle for stuffed stuff.

I enjoyed visiting the JM Weston store on the Champs-Elysee. Arny's is worth a visit even if you don't like their iconic overcoat. I didn't have time to stop by Cifonelli, but would have liked to do so. I've been curious about visiting Paul Grassart's - he posts on Cutter & Tailor and I'd like to see more of his work...

I'll be in Paris myself the last week of April. Was planning to hit up the shoemakers: Carmina, Corthay and Dimitri Gomez.

You bet; I should have my travel booked in the next week or so, let's coordinate on PM.

Yeah, definitely Charvet! And make sure to walk right past the ties and pocket squares, and go upstairs and buy a pair of pajamas. They are outrageously expensive, but they're the best in the world, and you're worth it.
