Dune.

I went to a used book store, traded in a bunch of old books and this was one of my purchases. Never read it. I don't think Sting was in the book though...

A very good book indeed, The Game-Penetrating the Secret Society of Pickup Artists by Neil Strauss.

I'm reading the I CHING, workbook. It is fascinating. Learning all about The Tao.

I have read Dune half a dozen or so times and I think that it gets better each time.

The Time of Our Singing, by Richard Powers. I'm really enjoying the way he illuminates the civil strife of the 60s through the prisms of classical music and physics. Fairly cerebral, and very long, but quite readable.

Kurt Eichenwald's Conspiracy of Fools, about Enron. So far I'm only a few pages in. But, I loved his account of ADM's price-fixing in The Informant, so I suspect I'll like this.

Hemingway. Across the River and into the Trees for the first time; The Sun Also Rises for the third. It's good to get back to the basics, y'know?
