You know, I have a hard time with such a heavy tie in general, but thought it worked OK in terms of contrast here.

Is Panta still around?! KIDDING. No, it's a Faconnable by Breuer.
And thanks, I will try to press the pants and see if a crease helps them.

No the antiquing is out of the box - Barker call it 'Dark Shadow'. I love the antiquing and for the price they're very nice shoes, but be warned, although construction is good and leather quality isbasically fine, they're a pretty light weight shoe - neither sole or upper is that thick, and whilst I've had no issues with robustness so far I don't expect them to last as long as some of my other English shoes (including other Barkers).

Cheers MoK, as an ageing mod almost all my suits and SCs are hard threes and I almost always fasten the top two. From now on I will follow your advice!

I think unless there is a decent hint of a roll buttoning the top is the way to go

You'll probably turn round and tell me the shirts identical to the white one, but this works better without a tie and I don't think it's just the colour.

You've probably gathered I'm no expert on fit, and not overlly picky about the fine details of fit, but bearing that in mind it looks great to my eyes

Nice combining, and a good look, although my preference would be for a slightly less spread collar.

I'm a bit on the fence as to whether the colour combining looks a tad over contrived, but on balance I think it works pretty well.

Up to half my kingdom for a decent navy sportcoat. This one is dope.

Depends on where you're at, but yeah, summer temps can drop down to 50s, especially at night.

I'll echo MoK's suggestion to button the top on this jacket. Nothing wrong with a hard 3.

Very conservative from you Spoo. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Great pattern mixing, too

Much better than my first WAYWRN post. Welcome! That suit looks great. Who made it? What was your experience like?

The suit fits great, but the pattern combining adds a layer of interest. I always look forward to your posts; they make me want to look closer.

Thanks, MoK. I had doubts about the white shirt with the stone slacks. It works better on the duck, I think.

I almost bought those shoes after seeing them on you a while back. But then a better deal came up for a pair of similar Grenson's. Lovely, nonetheless!
