Frumpy in what context? Dull, plain, unattractive?

I agree the kmw's need to be hemmed but they are straight leg from 2010. I 100% agree the WWM jacket is a daring piece and I have only worn it camping until today. The sleeves are also a bit long.

I agree, the majority of people will look at the WWM piece and think it is hideous. As I previously mentioned, it was purchased as a hiking, camping, etc. piece. I will heed the advice and probably keep it in that part of my wardrobe going forward. Unless, anyone can suggest a better way to use it as a casual piece.

"Be More Vague!" "Stuff about it looks not good." Actual criticism: Taking into account the regular fit as intended, the jacket hits a little high for my liking and, possibly because of this, looks kind of tent-ish at the waist. I don't really like the third pocket and I am not the biggest fan of the pattern as other have stated but tastes vary on that sort of stuff. The shoes are really thowing me off in terms of a) colour and b) the fact that they connote spring/summer which doesn't jive with the rest of the fit. I scrolled down expecting boots and got mocs. Seriously, people, how hard is it to elaborate on your dislike of someone's steeze.

Thanks for providing a thorough explanation! I agree with your assessment of the shoes. The caramel is too bright for the tone of the overall outfit. Also, you are correct, I was going for a relaxed fit. Also, I am not sure if the side of the jacket(?) was zipped which could have made it look tent-ish at the waist.

i think the colours are a bit off in the picture, which hurts it. Is it more beige, or grey? Depending on how warm it is I think you could use it in a looser fit or maybe even with shorts. Wearing it with those shoes and jeans make it look too casual, and therefore frumpy. It looks thrown on. I don't know what I'd suggest to make it work, but it can probably be done. Maybe with a pair of looser EG or WWM pants and shoes that aren't those. I think either way you have to use it in a more stylized look.
