I saw a plaid vintage Pierre Cardin suit. It was surely for me...but not as it was 2 sizes too small.
This is nice.

Whoa ... i get busy for 24 hours and you guys just crush it out of the park. Some really NICE looks today and yesterday ... too many to complement ... but off the top:

  • Nicely done IST
  • Awesome gun check TC - fit looks great. Stay stylin' old man.
  • Great tie BB and that lange is a watch to die for
    inlove.gif
    . One day ...
  • Welcome back MoK
  • UC - lovely garrison ... i can't stomach those lapels, but you were it well
  • Sartorialism - please dial the color down a notch. Too much going on.
  • Ed - lovely jacket. My gun club envy is increasing. That has to be one of your best pictures ever ... lol
  • Moo - nice leather jacket ... lulz @ the Vox joke ... you do need some new jeans though.
  • Spoo - i think the shirt scale is fine. The fit of the jacket is nice too, less waist suppression (at least from the pic) makes it very balanced. Like how you Spoo-rified the fit with the shoes ...lol. Well played.

NYR and others - yeah, that jacket i wore yesterday is cotton, so it doesnt fit as well as my other materials. Trying to make the most of it before summer is gone for good.

Today - you guys look too good. I am not even gonna bother posting

Thanks for the comments gents. It's PBL, don't know the vintage. It'll definitely get another wear before springtime. As for the lack of pocketsquare:

On a related note, if anyone wants yesterday's tie in exchange for a similar paisley pocket square...hit the PM button.

I've got those, but would a white square go with the fit? There's not of drop of white anywhere. Wouldn't it clash?

^ I know this has been brought up (many times), but I don't think one should "always" wear a ps. The group think regarding this element is kind of funny.

I think UC's look is great without one. Just my .02. UC, I don't think you should wear one just because.... Throw it in when you are comfortable or think it would complete the look.

I'd need to see a full length pic to fully judge the colour, but I think you might just have pulled it off.

I agree - white would be too stark, pale blue or cream would work nicely.
