Woooo wee. That is kinda sick. Now I'm debating whether I should be getting a flannel blazer or a donegal one in the 62016....

I'm getting a three piece SB in 62023.

I've lost all interest in a Donegal suit. Thought everyone would want to know that.

I'm not sure if I'll ever wear mine as a suit to be honest.

You would wear the pants odd?

That wouldn't work for me. DocHolliday does it and it looks bad even on him.

Sure. Tweed pants are great. What's not to like? They're not white flannel, of course, but still....

Tweed pants?

Patterns for pants are tricky. Loud plaids are pretty much the only ones that work for me.

Now you really confuse me. What's not to love about donegal tweed or herringbone tweed pants. Sure it's more casual than a pair of flannels but tweed is great for odd pants. Where's the dislike coming from ? I wouldn't call that a pattern as much as a texture btw.

I imagine his concern is because your pants are blue.

Just one of those things "not done" that's been in my head since I started thinking about clothes. They are jacket or suit patterns, not odd trouser patterns.

I think I am right about the history on this, but even if I am not I am right about my personal aversion.

I think that one never really caught on.

It might just be a Mantonian meme.
