SL Boxeuses today: the decant finally arrived, and I'm wearing it.

Well, it's a Russian leather but not really as harsh as I'd expect. Kind of a cross between Chanel CdR, Cuiron, and S-ex. It's good and I smell myself pretty regularly, but I'm not sure how much of that stems more from the newness and anticipation.

Body Kouros on the left wrist, Rochas Man on the right. I think they both share some sort of anise, eucalyptus, liquorice note. TBH I can't say I really like either, although I understand why they're both popular.

This thread is for fragrances, not your personal sexual peccadilloes.

I was inspired by SpooPoker to wear M7 today

Interesting. I don't get any chocolate at all. It struck me as more of a peppery juniper scent. Then again, my decant was a freebie as a part of a trade, and maybe something was wrong with it.

Not the scent I want to smell on a woman...

I also got peppery/woody with a prominent hemlock note. Said sample came from OJ, though.

Quite similar to Bel Ami, IMHO.

I have it on again today and I'm getting the peppery musky smell as well. Might have been the SPF I had on yesterday. Oddly, it smells much better today than yesterday. Who knows.

Today: Chanel Egoiste, from an older bottle, around 2002. A little richer, heavier on the sandlewood/rose/tobacco. I'm not sure whether I prefer the older or newer version.

Today - Canali Black Diamond. Loaded to the hilt with ingredients, but the overall vibe it pleasant. Not too unique, but could in theory be the only frag one owns.

I have to admit, until now I had never even thought to classify scents into hangover and non-hangover categories! That information should be included in Turin and Sanchez's Perfume Guide.

I'm wearing Muscs Koublai Khan for the second time. The first time, I underapplied just to be safe. This time I applied more liberally and noticed a lot that I didn't notice last time. I really, really like this one!
