ah, Chergui has moved from ambery spiciness to a spicy amber/hay. Man, why did I wait so long to get this?

Also...picked up a bottle of Egoiste, finally. I was overwhelmed by Want.

Good stuff, you'll like it. Quite versatile for any season.

I absolutely love Dans Tes Bras, but I've had the same problem. After about three hours, I can't smell it on my skin anymore. But, if I leave a room I've been in and then re-enter, I can smell it in the air.

Was thinking of Montale Red Aoud this morning. But I still hadn't really sniffed it yet, and I decided I didn't want to take a chance. Knowing Montale longevity, I'd be stuck with it all day if I didn't like it. Went with Bleecker Street to be safe.

Ok, so I'm aware this might lead to some abuse from you guys. But I'm always on the look out for some relatively inexpensive cologne, mass-market, that not that many people use.

so...with that in mind.....I've been looking for a more masculine scent. Nowdays I rotate between Lanvin oxygen, Zegna, and Issey Miyake. So you see the level of fragrance sophistication I'm working with. I used to buy classier stuff, but I realised on my budget, fragrance isn't important enough to warrant more than 60-80 bucks and little effort.

any one have any experience with D squared rocky mountain woods? i read some reviews of it that make it sound kind of nice.

No abuse warranted. Yeah, DSquared is a pleasant fragrance. You should test it on your skin at least twice before buying it. I think I saw some at Nordstrom's. Plenty of good colognes for <$80 out there. Burberry London is a really great one for Fall and Winter. You can get a small bottle for ~ $45. YSL Rive Gauche is very masculine in an old skool barbershop way. A bottle can be had for ~ $35 Fahrenheit is worth testing out. Available at Sephora for ~ $60

Today, a light spray of Guerlain Anisia Bella: a light, herbal anise. Should wear fine in the summer.
