okay let me broaden this out - I want some high to mid non CP interesting/detailed sneakers that are well made and will look good when they are fucked up. Budget around 5OO USD.
Any recommendations? KVA? Raf? whats best.

Well you could get the high version of those MMMs but the problem with that, imho, is that they'll always be second best to the distressed leather version. I dunno man there are a lot of possibilities out there. If you're into the DBSS thing those just dropped recently, you could snag a pair of Rafstros (or Vandals but I dunno where to find them in black on black right now). Black high tops is almost TOO broad, I just don't like either of those mids. If I was going to choose between them I guess I'd get the Barretts.
