I love the last. The shape was the main reason for my interest, actually. I agree on the dubiousness of the medallion punching, though, although I wouldn't necessarily call it 'awful'. Assuming that this kind of toe would be the usual thing since the invention of the dress shoe and I'd show you a pic of a half-brogue here and now, which you've never seen before, your reaction would most probably be the same. We're creatures of habit...

Plain toe version:

I'll give me another day to consider it...

^^ Depends on your complexion and what goes best with the majority of your wardrobe. Leaving that out of consideration, I think I'd prefer #2 for that type of jacket, though...

Thanks, I ordered it. Ah yoox, such a crapshoot. My success rate is about 30-40%. At least I can return it if it doesn't fit, or if it has some weird and disturbing "feature" that isn't visible in the photos.

$575 is very expensive for anything APC, imo, but I won't generally pay over $100 for Made in China anyway

Yes, I agree it's quite expensive for APC. But it's got a quality to it that kind of haunts me, which is usually a good vibe for me.

On one hand I'd not pay that much.

On the other hand I agree with you, it's a nice coat.

Cheers fo the chelsea opinions, I'm still on the fence for what pair to pickup.
