Yeah, my profile is old, about 4 years, before I knew much about sizing.

I am actually a 34-36. RO for the most part, runs pretty small. However, sizing does depend on the jacket, I've only done research on the leathers and have concluded that some like the pilot leather fits slightly bigger than the Mollino or Intarsia. I think it also depends on how it is cut. I have the Intarsi and Mollino in size small, I measured both and they are practically identical but the Intarsia feels smaller and tighter. I think it has a higher armhole than the Mollino, giving a closer fit or at least that feeling. On some RO leathers though, I've seen measurements where the P2P is around 20"-21" on a size small while on others it is 18"-19" on the same size.

^those measures are on the hanger and the construction makes accurate measurements impossible. the pilot only fits bigger because of the wool shoulder insertions.

I also agree with that, 2 people can measure the same RO jacket and might have different results, differing by an inch or more.

Those drapy cardis are usually cut quite generously. Found a cached page with measurements for a size 1, for reference. http://webcache.googleusercontent.co...&ct=clnk&gl=us Size 2 is generally suited for a 36, but since it can be worn a wide variety of ways, it could most likely accommodate a 38.
