Interesting. How do you compare it with G&G. To me, the toe box is only a little different and best seen on the side view. The heel is different. Of course the laces are different but is easy to switch in and out.

Not easy to do an armchair comparison let alone an objective one. Toe box is a huge difference for me. Much more angular and "aggressive". However, given my widish feet, the challenge is to create a sleeker last without messing up the proportions. This toe tip is broader than what HF normally makes. He tends to favour a pointier toe box but it is very different to say the TG73. The G&G have their signature bevelled waist and finishing to the sole, which is not something HF does. There are other stylistic and creative differences as well especially in the detailed finishing and the burnishing of the leather. I haven't received my G&G bespoke just yet and cannot give you the comparison you desire.

The lace is a non-issue really but I have to say, these are the most amazing laces I have come across.

I wonder how many pairs of Vass I can get for the price of these beauties. Maybe 6 pairs?
