I'm over 25. I wouldn't wear them either because it looks odd on me, but you see them on italians all the time and it looks good. They're obviously not for everyone, but to say all men shouldn't wear bracelets is rather close-minded. I would never say (well, not seriously) that all men shouldn't wear bracelets. That said ... I personally don't think they look good on men ... but that's just my opinion. But ... I'm not going to kick a handsome fellow out of bed for wearing one ... which brings me to your next point.
As for the supposed gay fear ... that's odd ... as I've never associated braclets with gay men ... but rather with tacky men.

I use to wear a pale green jade bangle XD Which I got rid of after I saw a picture of me holding my friend's purse while I waited for her to try on clothe at a store. I promptly took it off and never wore it again.

If you can pull off a bracelet in a tasteful way, I'm pretty sure women find that attractive because it conveys confidence. I submit that women wanting to **** you is the bottom line and little else matters when it comes to clothes. Who really cares if a bunch of homophobic nerds make fun of you on a message board?
What think we of Rick Ross's bracelet? Note also the charm on his chain contains his visage - sunglasses, beard, and all - ostensibly made of diamonds.
