No idea, you could see it go either way. Either the tobacco companies lose so much revenue that they cut back on ad budgets or the decide that they have to address the issue and "rebrand" their product.

Anyone know what happened to the actual agencies that handled cigarette accounts after the report?

A bit of sudden expertism on a Monday afternoon. Interesting even thought it doesn't directly address your question.

It was uncomfortable to see Don asked to be slapped.

lol. Anyone notice that Henry can't bang Bettey in Don's bed - that he has to be in the car to get it up?Â

I can see this being sort of a mirror of Jantzen's problem - SCDP may need to get a little dirty to keep Lucky Strike.

I thought it was coitus interruptus from the kid using the phone in the hallway? Good observation though.

Interesting dynamic between Don and some of the younger execs. They are choosing to keep him in the dark, making their own decisions about stunts etc..., but they are still dependent upon him when **** hits the fan.

Perhaps I have learned to try to read too much into everything Weiner does. Maybe it was just the kid, but I find myself trying to assign meaning to the placement of every freaking lampshade on the set.

What about the booze? Canadian Club featured prominently, but Roger poured a shot of what, vodka? Did anyone see that? I have a vague recollection of Stoli in a previous episode, but someone can clear this up probably...

Plus, they wouldn't let Roger order drinks after the first interview. A new work ethic?
