Nice shoes. Overall, I think the brown tie and brown suit are too much together. I'd also consider slimming and shortening the pants. Keep cool!Originally Posted by philosophe

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I would have to agree that pleated pants do look baggy on me. What I wore to church this pass Sunday. Had to forgo the tie and go with a more casual look.

Ocean Place Resort in Long Branch. There was an Indian wedding at the same time as ours that was effing INSANE. They hired boats to shoot off fireworks over the Atlantic and half of our wedding oarty went out to watch with them. I also wish we could have eaten over there, the smells coming from that room were intoxicating and I loooove Indian food.Originally Posted by NewYorkRanger

Try some Indian icecream for dessert next time you visit a restaurant, comes in cool flavours such as pistacio, rosewater, saffron, mango and cardamom. My favourite.

In my experience (and i'm sure this can be disputed) those color spectators go very well with lighter colored pants - which is why seersucker, linen, tans and browns are always a good match. i'd have gone with a bone/cream or tan pair of pants, but then that would have thrown off the colors up top. Try it out with some colors in the light brown or light blue family and lets see how it comes out.

Just curious really - as I said, Ive never had specs and am unsure of the matching/combining.

Honestly I think they look a little off. Too much pop without enough to counter it above the waist.

I knew a lady who worked as a hostess at an Indian restaurant. One of her responsibilities was chopping the nuts for the special Indian ice cream. She chuckled that it sold quite well, even though it was regular vanilla ice cream bought from the nearby supermarket. But hey, the nuts made it exotic.
