Yeah. I used to have a 6 pair rotation, but no longer fit them, but I have some KZO slim straights I got to tide me over and a pair of Alexander Mcqueen tapered raws coming my way soon.

Too bland and a bit boring imo

I like the silhouette but the thing is I feel like maybe I just want them because I can get them for cheap (130 + ship). And I have been trying to get out of the habit of things being on sale being a factor in buying decisions.

These are awesome, ages ago (before my being on SF) I remember they were the best sneaker I could find by a mile. While things have changed since then, they still rate highly in my "most aesthetically pleasing and generally awesome sneakers" list. I prefer these bballs to the achilles because they have a curved shape a la converse and have the right amount of chunkiness/weight to them a la margielas. Overall I see the achilles as being more designer than the bballs, though this is simply a matter of preference. As for being bland, that's typical of CP and the reason they're so popular, in this time of everything being pushed to the excess it's nice to have something simple and plain; In an ironic twist this makes them interesting because they aren't your usual dose of colour, contrast stitching, patchwork etc. So much so that they can be attributed to the change of mindset in sneakers and the crop up of brands such as Generic Surplus that have been inspired by their philosophy.

Not a huge fan of the bball highs and they're on sale for a reason, but for 130 that's not too bad if you need a pair of white highs.

Thing is I am still circling and trying to talk myself into dropping a bundle on a McQueen weekender... and these minikops are just eating into my spare balance. I am thinking I may just pass and blow my load on the real heat, but I'll sleep on it.

Cashmere Vince, not sure if I should pull the trigger for $150 (retails $245). I think I need some colors in my life and this could be a good start.
