How is it ignorant to the point of mocking the working class? Unless it was intended to be scientific (which it wasn't), there's no need to have any understanding of the working class for this kind of shoot, aside from what they wear. If it was intended to be an at all accurate depiction of the working class man, sure, but I think it's obvious that this isn't the case.

I saw the editorial as a man breaking free from the conventions of work and work attire, keeping in mind that it is a fashion shoot and not a look book or conventional method of advertising. Personally I liked the idea and it made the clothes that I otherwise am not a fan of somewhat interesting.
