All the new models have that Buick LeSabre front grill. I don't know about the XJ but I saw the new XK on the road yesterday and it looked pretty sweet. Supposedly, Jaguar is doing very well in recent reliability ratings surveys.

I generally like it. Not all cars photograph particularly well. i think this is one of those. I bet it will look better in person.

I think it looks like a$$, I love the XK and XF, but this is not Jag like at all. This is where I give Ford credit for trying to maintain some of the classic styling, however with the new owners, I'm not quite sure altering the XJ into a Maserati/Maxima clone seems ideal for the established brand.

Damnit, they just messed up the best classic luxury sedan out there.

The 1996 and 2004 redesigns was brilliant, and this is just... UGH.

They should have followed BMW and MB with the evolutionary changes, not this ultramodern POS.

Its funny how different groups react. It got a very positive set of comments from a luxury car forum I look at. I will wait until I see one in the flesh before I react to much but from the photos I am in the Oh No, No, No, group.

I think the front is what the XF shouldve looked like. I dislike the XFs headlights a lot. It does look Hyundai-ish but i could get sued to the front.

The back however looks plain ugly.

The XK looks like crap in pictures imo, but is a bit more imposing and attractive in person, so this might look better IRL as well.

It looks like a bloated XF - not bad, but the last generation was the pinacle of a never-to-be-repeated sort of panache IMO...

To my eye the 99-01ish XJ was the best looking sedan in recent memory. No idea why everyone was going for the Mercedes/BMW over those beauties.

I love the idea, and generally love this new design. There's a couple things that could be slightly different, but I think taking inspiration from the current Maserati design as well as the Maybach is a good look for a car that has had horrible sales now for a while

Probably reliability?

That and lesser driving dynamics. All other considerations aside, I'd much rather drive a 740i from that generation than an XJ. I'd venture to say theres no comparison in their poise...
