The iPhone will be getting TomTom GPS later this year. When is the question. You'll have to pay but it's supposed to be the whole enchilada just like a dashboard unit.

What about the LG enV Touch: http://reviews.cnet.com/cell-phones/...-33665903.html Verizon has this one and it seems to do the stuff I want, I think. Is there a site that has a chart or something that I can just check off the stuff I want to have and it will tell me what phones have those things?

Only one I'm aware of http://www.gsmarena.com/search.php3 although it's only for GSM phones meaning AT&T and T-Mobile. Also will include many non-US phones but might be a good place to start unless someone can provide a better link.

Most individual carrier websites should have something similar I believe.

Are you not eligible for upgrade pricing on whatever plan you have now? I know rogers in canada is selling the 3g for $99, and the 3gs for 199 with a 3 year contract. They also have more reasonable plans now so that you're not obligated to spend $80/mo on your cell service.

Seconded the E71 or new E75. Used the e71, have now switched to the e75 and it works really well.

Nah, can't do it, I love verizon service.

But so close, so many cool, time wasting apps.

But, I can't use an Iphone underground, on the subway.

Google earth is kinda mesmerizing though.

But, I love my blackberry keyboard.

Although, I can overlook the fact that the Iphone keyboard sucks, and autocorrect is a ******* nuisance.

I think I need more apple koolaid.

In U.S it's 699. It might be a little more than you wanted to spend on a phone, but if you keep it in good condition, resell fares quite well. Phones like this ( the N95 was in the same class 3 or more years ago ) usually resell fairly well, depending on condition. It'll have everything you'd like. I'm looking to get one for myself before my trip on Friday.

There have been several sales run on the Nokia where the price ended up being in the $450 - $500 range. Another problem with the iPhone is lack of insurance. I believe Apple will give you a one time exception but that's it.

On the N97? I haven't heard of anything like that. I've heard preorders had a generous discount, but since it's been released, I don't believe it's been on sale. It's only been on the market since June 15th

My Blackberry fell off my bed and died yesterday. I just bought this as a standin till it comes back from the repair place:

Twenty bucks. It kicks ass. I may keep it. I can: 1. make calls 2. send texts 3. play snake 4. use flashlight to find my way up my stairs at night 5. treat it like complete crap and know that it will still work next time I pick it up. It's like it appreciates me more. Cheap Nokias FTW

lol the same arguments could be made for cheap clothing vs. expensive clothing. It's all preference, I guess.
