One Shoe Wardrobe: Why Not?

I am not underestimating you at all. In fact, I believe that all of us had entertain that thought at least once when we first received something that we really love, especially when we were at your age and started doing this. As in connoisseurs of every art form, one's taste changes as one grows deeper into it. As of this moment, I don't think we (or at least I) have yet studied and versed in this artform well enough to have arrived into a conclusion and definition: this is not the point in your life to declare and conclude anything. I thought about that. There will be times I need to travel with the shoes, so the trees will get jumbled up. For the same reason, and because of weekends, there may be some days where I don't wear any of them at all, so the day labels won't work. I'm thinking numbers and tags that fold over the tongues.Originally Posted by mafoofan

You could also name your shoes using a mnemonic. E.g., you can name one pair Anne Hathaway, and slip your feet into them from behind. You can name another pair Cameron Diaz, and then bind them tightly after putting your footsies in. And so on.

Mafoo, Bill's suggestion is good. Go with the trees. Or, line them up on a shelf facing out. As you wear them and put them back, return them to the shelf face-in, moving from left to right. When you get to the end, start again, flipping them as you go.
