So I've done a search, and can't find the answer to this exactly. I'm a size XS in Banana Republic. I agree with the consensus opinion here about their decline in quality. So I'm looking for other brands. I'm looking for sweaters presently, but coats and such would also be good to know. I'm about to buy some Ralph Lauren small (neither Purple or Black Label, just the normal label) and I wanted to see what you guys thought about the equivalence in size and fit (tapering) as compared to Banana Republic XS? Thanks.

If you are a XS and can fit into anything that the Hickey Freeman His First line is offering go ahead and get it from there. Prices are ridiculous. http://www.hickeyfreeman.com/website...T.svl=deptnav1 And before you knock it understand that their 18 and 20 comes close to a Mens 34 and 36.
