yea I tried that heavy dakota and the fit was terrible, it all belled out at the bottom and was way tight up top, I was very dissapointed, and then the sales guy said that is the style of it...

that guy is dumb.. I think it's just one of those pieces that just fits you well or it doesn't. I might pick it up if it drops below $100 tho

went to the sale today, it is actually a literal 'private sale' that is not avail to everyone. You do need the card to get the 50% off, you can't just say you know about it and ask for it. oh well.

I saw Prps on sale at Barneys last weekend... Didn't look closer because I wasn't really looking for jeans.

if anyone in nyc has a card and won't be using it (or is willing to take me along) , let me know please...

I saw these posted a little while back but they were much lighter (and cooler looking). I still bought a pair of the tan ones. Price was right and I figured I could always return them.

I am pretty sure the ones you saw posted were not the same as the 'blue point chukkas', the ones you are refering to are those on FTGG and I dont think they are the blue point but I could be wrong can anyone verify?

here are the FTGG ones
