Just tore them out of the box and had a quick go round the living room. A tad wide but I new that would be true (I have b-width feet)- but it'll be winter socks for these anyway.

Sorry for the crappy pics but it's I have the time for at the moment.

RBWB1's in Dark Cognac/Bombay calf; 42 last, storm welt, triple leather sole.

Actually, those toe plates are brass-coated steel. The 'gold' will wear off and the 'silver' come through.
An Italian maker offered me Steel or Brass, not coloured. the steel could be thinner, but he adviced me to get brass ...

I've had some old Grensons which didn't make much sense as UK sized, but did make sense as US size. Not sure if they did different labeling for other markets or they just ran very small.

I have an identical pair from Cole Haan, also bought at aroud $20. They've been good beater shoes for me.
