To bring things back down to Earth a bit, here are my new $24.95 deadstock Grenson Footmasters.

Oddly, this pair seems to be in American sizing. Anyone know anything about 'em? Here are pics of the sole and stamp, if that helps:

I've had some old Grensons which didn't make much sense as UK sized, but did make sense as US size. Not sure if they did different labeling for other markets or they just ran very small.

I have an identical pair from Cole Haan, also bought at aroud $20. They've been good beater shoes for me.
