I guess I just find the idea that something would be disrespectful because its worn in a different way than the style was originally intended kind of depressing.

The most pertinent example I can think of atm is work wear esque styling. I'm guessing a lot of the guys on this forum who dress in that style don't do much manual labor. Its rather in-authentic perhaps, but I don't think its offensive. No reason why everyone should have to dress according to their particular station in life. If I, a 16 year old high school student who does very little physical labor, want to be clad in EG and red wing boots, I don't think that choice should offend anyone.

I do however agree on the comment about intense distressing.

I think that by itself, intense distressing can be interesting (on well fitted jeans). However it's just that it is everywhere and usually executed poorly that it has such a bad image, and leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Which is a pity, because the same has happened to all black (like suits).

I don't like those tee shirts that say "Only real men wear pink."

If you wear pink because you like the look, then I couldn't care less. If you wear pink because you think it's cool, then you need some serious help.

+1 Bingo. Wearing pink is fine, but to flaunt it and transform yourself as a walking billboard to show off is just disgusting.

Shouldn't it be 'the old keffiyeh fad'? People have been wearing it for some time now. Let's hope they stop soon. Actually they've stopped wearing it here in Norway, even the socialist radicals. Yay!

I actually liked those the first time I saw someone wearing one. I was sick of it the third time I saw one.

Wasting time thinking about all the crappy clothing people will inevitably wear anyway, when you can focus on what good stuff you will get next.

Just obvious things annoy me
-Crocs
-Tight shirts on big guys (no need to flaunt it)
-"Leotardish" pants on large women (cottage cheese anyone?)
-Pants that are too short

And I must say that I'm glad I'm not friends with a lot of people on here. Too much hate for some of the cheaper brands. Not everyone can afford $400 shoes, etc. Still, it's nice to pick up a lot of pointers from you all.

They look good. Haha. I bought five pairs myself.

To each their own, I suppose.
