Anyone see this yet? I think this is absurd and beyond rediculous. People honestly can't stand for this ****. I realize don't give into what they're doing but sometimes...:

jesus christ, I hate that ******* church. They even twisted the bible verses to work to their benefit, rather than the normal translation. If anyone has seen the leader's sister on TV you can tell she is fucked in the head.

I would love to read about some folks showing up with baseball bats and taking out the WBC people. Wouldn't they like to be martyred and go to a "better place".

Big shock here. Everyone was talking about it.

The scene suggests suicide, but there is no evidence that he was depressed or anything, and he had valid medical reasons for the pills. He may just have misdosed or taken them with alcohol or something,, when he shouldnt've.

OTOH, it is being said here that he really didn't like the spotlight, getting antsy with the papparazzi lately. Maybe the WBC thing above is an indication of some nastier stuff he has had to deal with lately, and maybe that did prove too much.

He seemed a genuinely nice guy who didn't take the safe options with his films. Actors like him who are prepared to risk their public image to play a juicy part are getting rarer, so he is a sad loss.

More glibly, this comes after the Australian cricket team got beaten by India and the last Australian got bundled out of the Australian Open. Not a good week for us.

These people are like the ***. Twelve or so sad, pathetic little people met by thousands of protesters. It's embarassing that many mainstream Christian groups didn't care about them so much until WBC started picketing soldiers' funerals. Hell, Clinton and Gore both accepted their contributions and ate dinner with them. Sad.
I believe that Fred Phelps is one of the only people to effectively be banned from a federal court.

Hahaha. That's basically the text I got from a friend after he heard. "I wish Heath didn't know how to quit us."

On the WBC thing, DC-area sports radio guy Steve Czaban (sp?) theorized yesterday evening that maybe he couldn't live with the fact that he played a convincing gay man onscreen. I mean, I know Czaban's a wingnut, but I thought that was pretty crass.

Oh, come on. Alan Keyes' been doing that for twenty years and is still able to live with himself.

I think they should bury him in his homeland of Australia. After reading that WBC church protest, Heath deserves a lot better.

Add me to those who had no idea that Anne Hathaway was even in Brokeback, much less topless. I've only ever seen her in 'Prada' (God help me), so I can't help but find her annoying, but the woman has the goods.
