*UPDATE* April 30, 2012 - So we are doing an impromptu meet up. Nothing serious or big. Everything so far is just preliminary and not finalized. If you have ideas, throw them at us.

Where: San Antonio (Austin?), Texas
Dress: Casual / Summer (no flip-flops)

what about Houston?

I would go but I feel that the attire for the meet up is going to be beyond what I have and make me feel out of place.

I'm sure that your cowboy hat, boots, and lonestar thong will fit in just fine with the rest of the Texas degenerates.

So.... your vote is for San Antonio then? Hahah. We might consider Houston as a possible spot, but so far, the two that have confirmed will be in SA.

To be honest Imhoff and I have been talking about this for a while. He's going to be in SA for a few days and I live there. We were mainly thinking SA or Austin for this meet-up. If it's successful, maybe we can plan one in Houston too. As for the attire, I wouldn't worry too much about it. It should be a fairly casual place and you can leave your bespoke suit at home.

If you are looking for a great place in San Antonio, I recently had dinner at the Omni La MansiÃ³n del Rio's "Las Canarias" restaurant. Really wonderful food, impeccable service.. a AAA 4 Diamond restaurant. And a bunch of well dressed guys will fit right in. The sommelier is a real gent and knows his stuff.

Just sayin..
