Very different than a cordovan shoe though so be careful. These are waxed so they are matte, and oily, not shiny.

Yeah, waxy is not really my preference but I really like the color of these. The cordovan seems fine with a suit but with jeans or khakis cordovan looks like you are wearing too executive a shoe or something.
I own a pair of the jcrew ones and they're not waxy or oily. Their copy writers do not really know any of the shoes they sell.
Ordered these in January, but just got another notice on delayed shipping. Went from 2/8 to 2/19 to 6/16!

No, those are not shell cordovan. They'd be like over $600. if so.
