I love that collar! What kind of cutaway is it?
I'm wearing that which is due for the dry cleaners next, plus my "problem child" shirt - a dress shirt so loud that it is a challenge to find a tie to coordinate with it - and, as it's vintage Hilditch & Key, rather too high on the food chain to merely toss out.
I love this shirt. I think it would look particularly great with that same navy tie and a cream colored linen suit come Spring.
^PB - your shirt collars are very nice.
As per the suggestion of mbreinin and others, today's photos were taken without flash. Also please note that it snowed overnight in NYC, and I'm wearing that which is due for the dry cleaners next, plus my "problem child" shirt - a dress shirt so loud that it is a challenge to find a tie to coordinate with it - and, as it's vintage Hilditch & Key, rather too high on the food chain to merely toss out.
One last Pic from the night. The bow-tie is unraveling from dancing. I promise I will try and buy a new suit before I post this one again.
^PB - your shirt collars are very nice.
Hopeful Thursday in Atlanta
I one day aspire to have as radical a collection of sportcoats as Gnatty. I've always wondered, would you say that most of your more vocal pieces are mid-to-high-end Italian RTW numbers? Bespoke?
I really like this. The cold-ish colours, esp. the blues, all work swimmingly well together. Great colour choices.
Just got this back from the tailor after having almost an inch clipped from the shoulders. I am most interested in what people think of the length. This is another one where I keep thinking it is too long...but seeing it in pictures not so much.
You need to get over your "it feels too long" phase, it's all in your head. The fit is impeccable.
