I like this. It would look great in a New Hampshire country home.

Not wood-paneled, per se, but stately:

Seems like the perfect environment for sexually ravaging Angela Lansbury.

My shelves are painted white because I couldn't afford expensive wood.

Urgh..I've always looked in awe at pictures of such libraries. Do the owners of such libraries actually own that many books or do they buy random books to fill the space? I'll always wonder..

Have you ever been to a church booksale or a flea market? You can barely give the things away!

I'm 21 and own around 200 books. I lug them around with me everywhere I move. I can't bring myself to throw them away. For practical purposes, I bring them with me to reference if research stirs me in their direction. I usually keep the novels I read, too. If I'm not reading something at the time, I like to pick an old book and read a passage at random as I wind down with a night cap.

Jesus Christ, how did I become such a douche bag at 21?

Sad to say, I used to read when I was your age, too. Don't worry, there is still time enough to put away childish things and become a responsible adult, as I did!

I can't wait to start enjoying America's Got Talent. SF has only fostered my terribleness.
