If your size of secret wash shirt is medium, then order medium size Belstaff. Do not size down.
Thanks old yeller for the sizing info. Any chance you know the difference between the Roadmaster and Trialmaster jacket?

Anybody have any experience with the linen shirts? I ordered one not too long ago, and am wondering about the quality.

I'm in the same boat as you with Jcrew shirts. Mediums are too baggy and the arms are too long for me. Smalls are ok but they pull in the chest. AFAIK Jcrew shirts dont really taper down at the waist from the chest.

My experience was that Rugby mediums fit pretty much like J. Crew smalls -- good everywhere except for pulling at the shoulders. I feel like that's one place where the fit isn't negotiable. Gant Rugger mediums fit similarly but with maybe a little more room in the shoulders, which makes all the difference. The Rugger shirts are a little more expensive ($110) and they only put out a couple plaid and madras patterns and a few colors in the selvedge oxfords. Also kind of tough to track down mediums these days.

Roadmaster is the new version of Trialmaster, the prototype British motocycle jacket. The "Original" Trialmaster version from J Crew is more like "Che Guevara" version or "I am Legend' version from Belstaff. A bit roomier for protective gear underneath of the jacket.

Same, got the email this morning. Not happy. I will be calling them; if I can't have the shoes I want that code back.

Hoping it comes to my store soon, highly unlikely it'll make it's way to lil ol' Des Moines, though. Got a style # so I can red phone it?

Wondering if someone who owns this can comment on how it holds up to wearing and washing. Saw it in store and loved it; but the linen content worries me. Is it a wrinkled mess, or more manageable due to the cotton blend?
