i suppose there is a difference between a conservative office guy wearing 2-3 postwork/weekend outfits that are essentially casual extensions of their work wardrobe and someone like impolyt/nicelynice who essentially live in sw&d style. I do agree that some people strive to look like a weekend warrior which is strange considering many are college age

This is what I meant. I work in an office, albeit a very casual one where the only things I can't wear are T-shirts, shorts and sneakers basically, and am fairly successful in my current field also.

I got in trouble for TAing/teaching classes in sweatpants and rick dunks, just fyi
