So that means 70% of the guys posting here aren't SW&D...
i suppose there is a difference between a conservative office guy wearing 2-3 postwork/weekend outfits that are essentially casual extensions of their work wardrobe and someone like impolyt/nicelynice who essentially live in sw&d style. I do agree that some people strive to look like a weekend warrior which is strange considering many are college age

It would be pretty retarded if people were saying that having an office job in your 20s meant wasting your youth. I assume they meant sartorially, you have plenty of time outside of work to wear something besides what you'll be wearing when you're 50.

This is what I meant. I work in an office, albeit a very casual one where the only things I can't wear are T-shirts, shorts and sneakers basically, and am fairly successful in my current field also.

aint nothin wrong with ur face but that sweater is a little ridiculous
    Why you hate?
I need to start dressing "well" for work, and I just bought items I'm already familiar with from SW+D - a Dries, N. Hoolywood, and now Jil Suit, Uni-qlo dress pants, Jil shoes, N. Hoolywood / uni-qlo dress shirts. It's a totally different vibe, not a natural progression. Dudes over there might murder for wearing "fashion" MC stuff
They'd also chew you out for it being black, regardless of what your peers wear [IMG]

Are you guys all in risk management at a conservative company? No? Then, please, keep wearing Jil colorblock suits and I Know What You Did Last Summer ponchos M-F 8-5.

Not feelin the boot tuck. Too much ankle flare, looks weird, like you have tied brown bags around your feet.
