I was inspired by this thread to finally post something in WAYWRN instead of merely lurking here. I can't really run with the Big Dogs on my teacher's salary, but this is what I wore to work today.

Suit: Silvio Bresciani
Shirt: MyTailor.com
Tie: John Nordstrom
Shoes: To Boot New York
Braces: Albert Thurston
Pocket square and cuff links: Kent "The Pusherman" Wang

The images above don't do justice to the suit fabric, so here's a closeup:

The lines are sublime, much appreciated.

1 - Your non-mirror normal stance?
2 - What's the faint white line running across the cuff? Change of mind on hem?

ok not exactly something posted often on SF. Trouser fit and Line.

These will be part of a much detailed post on pants fit coming soon.
Sorry no color versions due to poor lighting conditions.

Cheers!

P.S the style is certianly not for everyone but it is fit that is crucial

Thanks for the photos, Tutee.

The trousers are awesome ... I am not a big fan of the 'slim pants' movement that is all the rage on SF. I'll keep my eyes open for your post.

Cheers N. I think the left sleeve can be a bit better...will see what we can do. How long will it take us to be interweb pals again after we wipe the floor at Eastlands with you on Saturday?

A certain Wayne Rooney may have something to say about that.

1. Sorry I will try getting it (don't have a decent digital camera at hand)
2. Yes I was experimenting with cuff width and forgot to take off chalk marks lol!

I apologize for the crappy pics, I forgot my camera at home today. Will have to bring it to school over the next few days. That said, let's add a third teacher to the mix? Hopefully I can work my way up to NYR & TB's level.

Deets:
H&M Jacket
CK Charcoal Flannel Pants
Mexx Shirt
Mexx Tie
AE Bel Air Brown Suede Wingtips

The jacket was $80. I think it fits pretty well OTR.

I am looking forward to your thoughts on trousers lines, and how you settled on the cuffs' width.

Yeah, I know it's bad, I gotta get these angles down, I have trouble finding good lighting in my apartment as there are pot lights everywhere.

I teach high-school (9-12) science, and math. Right now I'm reaching 11 physics and 9 & 10 science.
