I had a Tumi leather briefcase in the late 90's-2003 for meetings and flights. I must admit it was practical but now it looks so .....dated. I need something else. I've had Ghurka canvas and leather. That was the 80's-90's. I've tried nylon backpacks. I don't want a legal brief, a heavy leather satchel or a Filson bag. Just something that is right for carrying business and personal items while traveling and into meeting. I think I want leather but not an attache.

Any ideas?

Yes, Valextra's leather ages surprisingly well. My wallet has been going quite strong for over four years now. Quite surprising given how vivid their colours can be.

I like the look of Glaser but I too think they are too heavy. The Valextra suggestion sounds good. Do you have a particular model or style to recommend?

I have a new Glase. 6" deal bag coming in a couple of weeks. I'll post my impressions then.

Have you seen the JG Milano? I was searching for a slim case and found it. Comes in 3 colors

Clicky the picky. ShoeBuy has it in 6 colors and currently is offering 15% bing cashback. I'm awaiting the imminent arrival of a JG bag in brown and another bag in black today.

I like the addtional function for the straps on the Delvaux. The JGM looks good, too.
