I need some sort of quickly for a project.

Many thanks, and happy Thanksgiving!

I think it depends on the fabric. I like MOP buttons on lightweight spring/summer coats. For instance, I have MOP buttons on a linen blazer. I don't think I'd like the look as much on a heavier fabric. Here's a picture of mine. The rumpled sleeves give away the linen. The pockets with flaps give away, well, the flap pockets.

Thank you - that looks nice. This is for a hop-sack-ish fabric, quarter lined, quite see-through when held up to the light. I'm deciding between a brown horn and off-white MOP.

Thanks.

If this will be your year-round, standard blazer, I'd maybe stick with brown horn. The white buttons are a little show-offish and not as versatile, which is part of why I like it better for a spring/summer thing. I can imagine it looking perfectly nice on your coat. I just think it's better on a coat worn less regularly.

Britex in Union Square should have everything you'll need. I think it's the 5th floor.
